Report of the Brazil-Canada Law Enforcement and Policy Exchange Tour, June 2011

The CPP Brazil-Canada Law Enforcement and Policy Exchange Tour ("Brazil-Canada Exchange Tour") held from June 9 – 15, 2011 in Brazil was a follow-up to the CPP Canada-Thailand-Brazil Study Tour which took place in Canada from October 24 to November 3, 2010. That event was hosted by the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre and executing agency IICRD (report at http://www.childprotectionpartnership.org/sites/default/files/CPP_Study_...).

 

CPP Brazil partners who participated in the Canadian Study Tour such as the São Paulo State Military Police and the Brazil Federal Police (GECOP - Special Group Combating Hate Crimes and Online Child Pornography) helped shape the goals of the Brazil Exchange Tour and played host to a CPP Canadian delegation along with additional Brazil partners during the Tour.
