CPP and CPP partner Plan were featured in the United Nations Girls' Education Initiative August 2011 Newsletter, "Gender Equality in Education and Information & Communication Technologies (ICT)." The article, "Cyber Crime Prevention by CPP-IICRD and Plan Thailand," briefly explores the various activities lauched by CPP and Plan to support schools and communities to better protect children from ICT enabled sexual exploitation in Thailand.

Strengthening Collaboration on Law Enforcement and Policy: Sharing Knowledge to Address ICT Enabled Child Sexual Exploitation

CPP law enforcement and policy partners from Canada joined Thai counterparts for an eight day intensive Policy and Law Enforcement Thailand Exchange Tour to share knowledge to address ICT enabled child sexual exploitation.

Cyberstalking refers to harassment or unwanted communication via some form of technology including computers, global positioning systems (GPS), cell phones, cameras and more. The National Center for Victims of Crime (USA) defines cyberstalking as “threatening behavior or unwanted advances directed at another using the Internet and other forms of online and computer communications.”
