CIDA
The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is a CPP Global Reference Group member and is a significant financial contributor to CPP. Since 2008, CIDA has invested three years worth of core funding ($2.6 million CAD) to support the development and pilot implementation of CPP in two program locations, South East Asia and South America.
Above and beyond this funding capacity, CIDA has been intimately involved in providing child rights expertise and strategic planning to IICRD with its continued participation on the CPP Global Reference Group. CIDA is considered a full member of the strategic team of advisors on the Global Reference Group in the initiative and has been present at key milestones for CPP leading to an active role as a full participant in the development process implemented.
