Plan has been working in Brazil since 1997, where more than 75,000 children and adolescents participate in roughly 50 Plan projects focused on ensuring that children access their rights to education, health, participation and food and nutrition security.

Plan Brazil's work (in cooperation with CPP Brazil) includes training of families, teachers, multipliers and internet service providers in ICT sexual exploitation prevention, strengthening of Municipal and State Plans to fight against violence and sexual exploitation, engaging civil society in ICT risk prevention, and involving actors of the Rights Guarantee System in the implementation of children and adolescents action plans developed in Circle of Rights processes.

Plan is developing a Work Plan to provide training on CPP issues to multi-sector actors, teachers and participants from the Rights Guarantee System.

Plan also provides strategic advice and financial management assistance to CPP and is currently implementing child-centred activities in the state of Maranhao.

Plan is also involved in the Brazil Curriculum Development Strategy and is a member of the CPP National Advisory Committee.
