Baan Thung Ngao School Teachers Receive CPP Draft Curriculum

CPP Thailand held a 2-day teacher workshop on the draft CPP ICT Child Protection curriculum activities from September 25-26, 2010 for about 50 teachers and students of Baan Thung Ngao School in Ranong province, in the Southern part of Thailand.
 
The workshop discussed advantages and risks of use of mobile phones, Internet and online games. The participants had lots of fun in the group activities.
 
The teachers had chances to learn about how to design activities on ICT and Child Protection in classrooms through the samples of activities introduced in the workshop. They also exchanged ideas on creating activities on raising awareness on online safety.
 
Besides the learning, the participants enjoyed discussing making use of the ICTs available in their school to promote school activities such as using ICT for preparing school brochures, creating school blogs and exhibition displays.
