CPP Brazil Showcase Event in Sao Luis

On June 16 and 17, 2011, while in Brazil to facilitate the law enforcement exchange tour in Sao Paulo and Brasilia, CPP held two showcase events with its Brazil partners to highlight the successes of CPP Brazil and its partners.

CPP Brazil publishes in top newspaper for Safer Internet Day

CPP Project Manager Emilia Bretan and CPP Senior Advisor, Bene dos Santos published an article about CPP in one of Brazil's top newspapers this morning. Emilia and Bene wrote about children and ICT enabled child sexual exploitation, and about what can be done about it. This was in response to CPP's Safer Internet Day Challenge where CPP posed the question: can you reach more than 1000 people with your message in one day?

The CPP Canadian Study Tour was an exciting, ten day event that brought together Law Enforcement and policy officials from Brazil, Thailand and Canada from October 24 to November 3, 2010, in Ottawa, Edmonton, and Victoria, Canada.

Invitation to the Fair of the Executive Secretariat of Human Rights

CPP Brazil Project Manager Luiz Rossi has been invited to attend the Fair "Observatory of Best Practices and Innovative Projects in the Rights of Child and Adolescent" in Brasilia on Dec. 6-8th, 2010. Luiz will be representing CPP at this event.

Programs and services around the world serve to protect children from the most serious threats to their wellbeing. Yet, very little is known about the impact of these efforts on the lives of children. How do we know whether child protection systems are actually succeeding to protect children? How can monitoring and evaluation enhance the protection of children?

Circle of Rights Training Session Held in São Luís, Maranhão (Brazil)
